1. MTV's Daria DVD series: Even though it's not very high-quality, I am impressed that someone actually put Daria on DVD. I searched for years and years to find it on DVD, but could never find it. Imagine my surprise this year, when I finally found it, and mom and dad bought it for me, for Christmas. It was the perfect gift for me, a child of the 90s. My husband and I have already watched nine episodes of it-- the whole first disc!
2. Digital photo keychain: If you knew my uncle, you'd know why I was so happy to get this from him. In the past several years, he's gotten me useless items bearing the brand, Diesel, on its packaging. This year, he got me something I'd actually been wanting, but didn't want to spend the money on myself. This keychain holds sixty photos, and is small enough, that it doesn't take up too much space. I absolutely loved receiving this gift for Christmas.
3. Project Runway Season 4: Mom and dad got me this season for Christmas. I would have gotten season 5, but it's not out yet. In some aspects, season 4 is even better, because it has the amazing Christian Siriano on it. I can't wait to watch the whole series again! Actually, I don't think I've seen quite a few of the first episodes. Bring them on!
4. Fiddler on the Roof: I have been wanting this DVD for six years... Literally six years. However, I kept forgetting, and others kept forgetting when it came to my birthdays and Christmases. Finally, this year, I got my favorite musical on DVD, from my mom and dad.
5. Espresso maker: I have yet to figure it out (I was too tired yesterday,) but I absolutely love my espresso maker, that my husband bought me. I look forward to caffeining myself up all the time with it. This went well with the espresso cups that my husband also got me, as well as the coffee grinder that mom and dad got me.
These are just five great gfits I got for Christmas. I am sure I will write a "part two" article, raving about all the great gifts I receive in West Virginia, and from other friends I have yet to see around here.
