My Favorite Time of Day

Dusk

Nova Rose
The end of the day,
It is not yet night
The sun is going down
The moon will be bright.

My favorite time of day
To sing and meditate,
To give thanks and praise
A time to ruminate.

I love the evening's glow,
The shadowy trees arise,
The bright moon in the sky,
As it steals the sun's great light.

At times I feel so strong
As I let my feelings go.
I love the air I breathe,
As I watch the night's intro.

My favorite time of day is getting into my cushy bed at nite. I'm sooo lazy!

Interesting that in some faiths, the new day begins with the sundown - Fits nicely with your poem - which is beautifully done.

Excellent! I'm reading this at the beginning of the end of the day - perfect timing on my part. Makes me appreciate this moment more.
