My Favorite Web Sites for Today's Moms

Beth Carson
These days, the internet is the stay at home mom's best helper. Gone are the days of coming up with things on your own. Every one can use a little digital help every now and then! Here are a few of my favorite sites.

flylady.com
Need some organization in your life? This is the web site for you. Sign up for the emails and you will get reminded throughout the day of things to do - such as cleaning your sink and 10-minute cleaning sprees. With flylady's daily zones, you will be clutter free in days.

hillbillyhousewife.com
This is the web site for the frugal mommy. From $45 emergency weekly menus to homemade pizza crust, you will find everything budget friendly here.

couponmom.com
Are you a bargain shopper? Then you probably already know about couponmom.com. They have lists for Target, Wal-mart, CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid. These list help you combine the deals of the week with coupons from your local newspaper or printed online. It's really fun to see how much you can save on your grocery shopping.

happyhousewivesclub.com
This is such a fun place. The stay at home mom can learn about the best place for a date night or the latest weight loss secrets. There is also a forum to converse with other moms like you.

familyfun.com
"I'm bored!" "There's nothing to do!" Tired of hearing these words coming from your little ones? Check familyfun.com for anything from arts and crafts to throwing and awesome party. There are even podcast to show you step by step instructions. My favorite thing on this site is the 30 days of meals. No more meal planning for me!

allrecipes.com
Only have a few ingredients on hand for dinner? Does your husband come home wanting you to recreate the recipe his boss' wife made for the potluck? Don't fret. Go to all-recipes. You can type in just a few ingredients and come up with a list of recipes or type the recipe name and you will see a few different versions. I love the reviews on this site. These recipes are really tried and true.

etsy.com
Need a way to express your creativity and make extra money? Check out etsy.com. This is the place to sell all and every type of homemade item. Just scrolling through the latest additions will get your creative juices flowing. Not that creative? Don't worry, no one will know when you show up with something from this site as a hostess gift for your next dinner party.
