There is a bumper sticker that I have seen some years ago. It says, "When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns". That my friend is a true statement, many law abiding citizens are not going to give up their guns easily. Some people only have one or two guns for hunting, while others have many guns, but that doesn't matter either way they won't give up their guns without a fight. If a man or woman owns a gun or several they all feel the same way. I know that is how I feel about it too. Most if not all gun owners will not for anyone and in spite of what anyone says will not give up their gun or guns.
I for one consider myself a law abiding man and have no desire to break any law, but I pity the man or woman that tries to come in my house and take my gun or guns from me. I have no intention of using force to keep my guns. On the other hand I plan to do whatever is necessary to keep them in my possession and retain ownership like I believe the founding fathers meant for us to be able to do in these United States.

Post a CommentYou just don't know how to read the constitution, it's like magicians hat, you can find all sorts of things in it the Founding Fathers never dreamed of!!!
I think too man7 of our freedoms are already gone, and it won't be long before we are at war here, because some of us still actually read and remember what this country was founded on.
Guns are not the problem, it is criminals, having a gun is not the problem, using it for a crime is.
Well put johnny, I work as a cop and none of the people I work with would enforce it. We would however fight it. :-)
Great article on gun control, Johnny. :) Stick by your guns!
Thanks all. I know that many feel this way, but I also know there are a lot that would like to control them and keep them out of our hands. I won't tell them exactly how many I own, and I won't turn them over to them either. Thanks again. Johnny

In the South, we don't look at gun ownership like other parts of the country. I grew up in a household where hunting rifles and shotguns were part of the furniture. I was taught to respect the power and danger of guns. To me it was like learning not to touch a hot stove. Gun collections are a source of pride. Many people own pistols and rifles they seldom shoot. The problem is not with guns. It's with the person who is determined to hurt another. I'm with Greenhill, D. I don't think anyone will ever get that nuts up there in the big house.
no one is going to take your guns, or my guns. It won't happen.
I see your point quite vividly. If I owned a gun, I would say those words too.WEll articulated. It is in our constitution to bear arms.
