My Fifteen Minutes of Fame: Interviewed by Donald Pennington

I've Been Exposed

Susan Sosbe
One of my AC goals for April was to be interviewed by Donald Pennington and experience my fifteen minutes of fame. I'm sure most of you know that Donald has been doing a wonderful job of interviewing various Content Producers here at Associated Content. After seeing several of the interviews he had published, and not being one to idly stand by while he figured the best way to approach me (I was next on the list, right, Donald? Umm, Donald?) I decided to approach him. I went to an article of his titled "Getting Exposed by Donald Pennington" and read how to go about getting interviewed.

It was interesting and fun. I enjoyed answering the questions he had...questions that required me to search a little deeper within to find the answers. Not very many people ask you what your proudest moment is in life, or what you would like your legacy to be. It was a nice change getting to answer questions that were a little more in depth than "What's for dinner?"

After I had submitted my interview, it didn't take Donald long to contact me to let me know he had submitted my interview. Never having any prior direct correspondence with him, I had no way of knowing just how charming he comes across. But charming is exactly what he is. It was a pleasure working with him.

If you haven't checked out Donald's work, you're missing out on some great articles. The interviews themselves are entertaining and often witty. In addition to the entertainment, you learn things about other Content Producers that you may not have known. For instance, I learned how to pronounce Kelly Spies last name. I also learned what theBarefoot's earliest memory is (ouch). Those are the only hints I'm giving. If you want to find out more, you'll have to check them out yourself.

Perhaps my favorite of Donald's articles so far is titled Rescued from the Holocaust that was recently published. It is a short but amazing story that is sure to give you chills. I highly recommend taking a look.

And Donald...thank you for exposing me.
