The Auburn Tigers Win the National Championship!

Auburn is the National Champion. TCU won the Rose Bowl and they are number two. Oregon played with heart but drop to number three. Michigan State dropped out of the top 10. West Virginia and Connecticut dropped out of My Rankings. Tulsa and Central Florida join the ranks.

Here are my final rankings:

1) Auburn (14-0) beat Oregon 22-19 in the National Championship Game.
2) TCU (13-0) beat Wisconsin 21-19 in the Rose Bowl.
3) Oregon (12-1) lost to Auburn 22-19.
4) Stanford (12-1) crushed Virginia Tech 40-12 in the Orange Bowl.
5) Ohio State (12-1) beat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl 31-26.
6) Wisconsin (11-2) lost to TCU 21-19 in the Rose Bowl.
7) Oklahoma (12-2) crushed Connecticut in the Fiesta Bowl 48-20.
8) Nevada (13-1) defeated Boston College in the Fight Hunger Bowl 20-13.
9) Boise State (13-1) crushed Utah 26-3 in the MAACO Bowl.
10) LSU (11-2) defeated Texas A&M 41-24 in the Cotton Bowl.
11) Oklahoma State (11-2) defeated Arizona 36-10 in the Alamo Bowl.
12) Alabama (10-3) defeated Michigan State 49-7 in the Capital One Bowl.
13) Arkansas (10-3) lost to Ohio State 31-26 in the Sugar Bowl.
14) Michigan State (11-2) lost to Alabama 49-7 in the Capital One Bowl.
1 5) Virginia Tech (11-3) lost to Stanford 40-12 in the Orange Bowl.
16) Florida State (10-4) defeated South Carolina 26-17 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
17) Mississippi State (9-4) crushed Michigan 52-14 in the Gator Bowl.
18) Texas A&M (9-4) lost to LSU 41-24 in the Cotton Bowl.
19) Nebraska (10-4) lost to Washington19-7 in the Holiday Bowl.
20) Missouri (10-3) lost to Iowa 27-24 in the Insight Bowl.
21) Maryland (9-4) crushed East Carolina 52-20 in the Military Bowl.
22) Utah (10-3) lost to Boise State 26-3 in the MAACO Bowl.
23) Central Florida (11-3) defeated Georgia 10-6 in the Liberty Bowl.
24) Tulsa (10-3) defeated Hawaii 62-35 in the Hawaii Bowl.
25) South Carolina (9-5) lost to Florida State 26-17 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

    Actually TCU is Number 1. Unfortunately since they haven't come up with a decent playoff system. We will never know. I dought Auburn could score on TCU They (Auburn) did have a great team. Number 2 after TCU...

    I am surprised TCU jumped Oregon because it was a close game last night. I think the guy who set up the slick field should be fired. Nice job on College Football this year Mike. :-)
