My First Anniversary at Associated Content

Judy Kaelin
In August 2009, I was introduced to Associated Content by my daughter. She had more confidence in my ability to write than I deserved. I did not think I could write anything that would be of interest to anyone. I knew nothing about favorites, forums, following or commenting on the work of others.

I am grateful to my large bouquet of loyal friends and appreciate their support. I enjoy reading everyone's articles and try to comment if only briefly. I get humor from some, wisdom from others, and reminders that I need to pick up my Bible more often.

Thanks to Associate Content for publishing my articles and to all my friends for their comments. I have a lot of favorites, to name only a few they are:

Nancy V Canfield who tickles my funny bone, Dan Reveal and Danielle Olivia Tefft because they boost my confidence with compliments, Jack Wellman, MMHarrington and Carmen Magnolia for keeping me spiritually aware. I must add there are many others and I enjoy them all! I also thank my daughter, Angela, for her encouragement.

I have a passion for everyone to have good health, I realize that some health issues like MS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Parkinson's, and some forms of cancer are unfortunate attacks on the body that may have no human cause.

I firmly believe that we are responsible for some of our health problems and that many health issues can be prevented or controlled by our diet and social habits. The abuse of overeating, smoking and the use of drugs and alcohol are factors that can be controlled to help us stay healthy. I believe that the chemicals used in farming and industry may have a negative affect on our health.

One of my first articles, "Are Food Additives Killing Us?" concerns issues I have with food dyes and MSG in almost everything we consume. My article "What is Myasthenia Gravis?" is of interest because my husband has suffered with this disorder for over ten years. "Multiple Sclerosis and Bone Density" is another article that hits close to home, because my mother suffered with MS for over forty years. Alzheimer's, and other disorders have touched my family and I like to share our experiences in hopes of helping others with their health related problems.

In the future I hope to continue to share what knowledge I have with others and I look forward to the wisdom I learn from all my friends and fans on Associated Content.
