My First Love

Tye Martin
He knows every curvature of my body, and the inside of my every thought. The very pace and rhythm of my heartbeat, the exact numbers of hairs all over my body from head to toe, and the distinct details of everything in between.

He knows my spiritual womb and the greatness it beholds, for it was he that imparted the seed. He has also impregnated my mind with the visions of his glory and splendor that surpass human sight, combined with his unfailing love, power and extraordinary might.
I love him sooo much, why?, because he first loved me. Before the foundations of the earth were formed, and the thought of this world went forth, he decided I was his unconditionally, eternally, no matter what, no matter how, I belong to him.

My first love, yes my very first. He is my maker, my creator, and the lover of my soul. The very essence of who I am is he. He is never emotional, but always faithful, always trusting, never wavering but consistent. Powerful and all knowing, never sleeping nor slumbering, but perfect in all of his ways.

My love, so romantic is he, commanding the shining of the moon upon my face in the late of the night, and calling forth the sun rays by morning to awaken me with his warmth. Kissing my face with the morning breeze, and gently embracing me with the noonday wind, my lover and my friend. Oh! and I can't forget the beauty in the songs he writes with precise orchestration sung by his birds, for he serenades me with life.

He is my Lord, my savior, and my king, but also known as ......... My first love.

Ah! I wish I could love God as my lover! I tried when I was younger, but gave up due to lack of response from God's side. I got frustrated since I couldn't see, touch or hear God. So I switched my attention to a lady and though she loves me, God is jealous I guess and He's keeping us apart!

Serious, Tye, would you be willing to try the topic, "Why Does the Lord Let All These Things Happen?" Or maybe your view would be "Why Does the Lord Let All These Things Happen. He Doesn't." I am open minded and would be interested. From the little I know of reading and experience, it seems the world became a better place from maybe the 1940s until 1980, and that overall even before then there was some gradual progress in some ways, but since 1980 till now ..... I don't know, I'm discouraged. I know you're younger than me. ...... but in your way you're probably older than me. -- Mike

Wow!! I am just as enamored now, as I was the first time reading it. I feel the same way about our Lord and Savior, Jesus CHRIST!! A thousand-fold Blessing be multiplied to you for the creative way in which you allow Gd to use your Gift.
