Poor Vienna. She just got done sharing her man with a bunch of other women on The Bachelor, and just now when she gets him all to herself, she has to share him with another woman for several more weeks. And not just any woman. He's partnered with Chelsea Hightower, and we all know what she looks like. She's young and gorgeous and most women would be green with jealousy if their man was forced to put his hands on her every day AND dance seductively with her. Hang in there, Vienna. Remember Jake loves you.
Niecy Nash & Louie van Amstel
I can't wait to see Niecy Nash. I think the lady is going to surprise us with some good moves on the dance floor. I hope Louie is prepared for the likes of her. Niecy is definitely a spitfire and she sure knows how to speak her mind. He might have to put on his "big boy pants" in order to deal with her. By the end of the season, I think Niecy will be telling Louie what to do, all the while sportin' that big flower attached to the side of her head.
Kate Gosselin & Tony Dovolani
Kate is ready to break out of the mommy role and kick up her heels. Jon's been out and about clubbing and showing off a girlfriend or two, and all the while Kate has been trying to keep her batch of kids in line. So I think the woman has a right to join the human race again and feel feminine and sexy. And what better way to do that than to be twirled around on Dancing With The Stars. Tony keeps getting all the good ladies.
Shannen Doherty & Mark Ballas
Another strong lady is Shannen Doherty who just might wipe up the floor with Mark. If she was smart, she'd listen to his advice. But something tells me nobody tells Shannen what to do. Mark may have his hands full keeping her focused. It should be interesting to see if she has matured enough to be responsible for something as huge as being on DWTS. There should be no temper tantrums on DWTS. Mark better tell her that right from the beginning.
Buzz Aldrin & Ashly Costa
What the hell does he think he's doing? He was born in 1930!!! I looked it up. I know astronauts are in shape and all, but this is ridiculous. Our local news reporter made a joke about how he hopes Buzz had put in his contract that an oxygen machine be kept nearby at all times. I laughed, but it's not funny really. I don't like watching elderly people on Dancing With The Stars trying to keep up with the younger, more agile, dancers. I'm always waiting for them to have a heart attack. It's distracting. And it's not sexy. Think Cloris Leachman, John Ratzenberger, etc. Need I say more?
Pamela Anderson & Damian Whitewood
They say Damian Whitewood is a DWTS professional newcomer. He must be the second cousin of somebody on the staff, or had a lucky star fall on his head or something, but I'm sure every single one of the guy dancers wanted to teach Pamela Anderson a thing or two about ballroom dancing. Can you imagine when Damian first told his buddies who his partner was going to be? I can picture them high fiving and drinking shots all night. However, I just thought of something. I have no idea who Damian Whitewood is. Maybe he's gay and doesn't care so much for Pamela's charms. I have absolutely no idea.
Erin Andrews & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
I know poor Erin Andrews has had a rough year after being stared at naked through a peephole by some pervert, but boy has her luck taken a turn for the better. To be paired with Maksim is like.... well it's like ..... okay it's my ultimate fantasy, all right? Erin, you lucky woman you. I will be living vicariously through you during each and every dance.
Chad Ochocinco & Cheryl Burke
I hadn't heard of Chad Ochocinco before he was picked to be on DWTS, but that's because I don't live in Cincinnati. But after researching him on the internet, I definitely know him now. He's a handsome guy. He's also lucky to have been paired with Cheryl who most definitely knows her way around the ballroom dance floor. For a big guy, if he can be light on his feet, Cheryl just may be able to do something with him.
Evan Lysacek & Anna Trebunskaya
Olympic skating champ, Evan Lysacek, should make an interesting contender for the mirror ball trophy on DWTS. Since he's so good at doing athletic things with his feet, I would imagine him being very good at dancing. I know that's not necessarily technically accurate, but hey that's the criteria I use in forming my opinions sometimes. Also, I found out that Evan was born in 1985. I have socks in my drawer that are older than that. Is he old enough to be on DWTS?
Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough
Derek is a hottie, and he knows it, but that's okay, because he really is a hottie. But I think he's in for a surprise this season. He's use to having partners who idolize him. Even the tough partners he's had, have all seemed to adore him. But I'm thinking that maybe even Derek will be a little intimated by Nicole. Nicole already knows a lot about strutting and gyrating on stage from all her experience with The Pussycat Dolls, so I think she'll make the transition to sexy ballroom dancing with great ease.
Aiden Turner & Edyta Sliwinska
Before hearing about the new DWTS lineup, I didn't know who Aiden Turner was. I read he was an actor on the soap All My Children. After checking out his picture, I may be tuning in to All My Children this coming week. Nice looking guy. And another lucky dog. He's been paired with the female professional dancer who wears the least amount of clothing while performing. Aiden probably has a lot of passion from acting on a soap, so I can only imagine the fireworks between these two.
Yes, this 2010 season of Dancing With The Stars is expected to bring us many weeks of seductive and sexy dancing. My biggest worry in all this is that Vienna will get bored sitting on the sidelines watching Jake. Well she might get upset too which won't be good. Oh the drama!

Good post....
Excellent!!! Thank you...:)
I can't wait to watch Kate dance!
So right about Chelsea Hightower. She's makes me feel like a dirty old man--which, of course, I am.
I enjoy this, thx for helpful info!
10..9..8..Blast off, Buzz! This is a great article!!
It's encouraging to see the senior set on the dance floor once in a while but I think they keep them on way too long. I know it's supposed to be by votes but don't you think they fudge the votes a little? When I watch DWTS I have to tape the show, can't stand all the commercials and triviality.
I might tune in to laugh at the old fart.
Nice article. I don't watch, but it sounds like an interesting cast of characters.
