My Flat "D" String

My flat "D" string says (to some)

I can't sing

and when you're hearing me flat

you say I know you...' cause that flat string sings

I'm not so perfect, you see

I'm not all that tuned in,

not so perfect...

that flat "D" string's me

That off-key it strings me out

to a dialog, to your verse

(the censors can't tune out

off-key verse)

So my product is off-key,

yet the words are perfect

though still not the key

Love doesn't have a (lock or) a key,

it's the power of the words

(pretty tuned words occasionally)

But who talks with chords...

who locks love with keys
