My Foremost New Year's Resolution

2009, New Year's Resolutions

It's nice to have this opportunity sharing with you my greatest decision. The New Year is almost near and so I have made my New Year resolution. Like any other person, the New Year resolution is a big deal so to say. Many may have promised to keep there words after the New Year resolution but later failed to do so. Most peoples New Year's resolutions are setting out prospects for a new job, planning for a better experience in job or duties, and enhancing their ability in one thing or the other for either good or bad.

It's never an easy task because it takes time to articulate your events for the year without proper documentation. Being able to put things in order, I discovered I made serious mistakes that hurt. The mistake is not being able to finish my assignments at the appropriate time but rather not having time for self rehearsal on how my daily events would look like; even though we know we can do it all as planned.

Mine is a stylish one. Having drawn my plans on how best to keep firm my New Year's resolution, the following ways will go a long way to help out.

Punctuality to Event: This is the first of the five ways to keep my New Year resolution. I have severally delayed in preparing to work for the day and thus have gained noting but lose. It is my decision to keep time and response to event which I know will earn me more than I can imagine as the famous Chidi Echefu would have it "your time when properly utilised, keeps you fit".

In as much as I will remain punctual to duties, I have as well planned prohibiting waste of much time in things that keeps the mind lazy. Example is watching TVs and listening to radios for too long which I found my self doing on weekends in place of relaxation.

I have seriously packaged my programmes for the New Year to embark on visiting places outside my state and country. I feel I have remained a dwarf for sometime because of the syndrome caused by staying in one location and thus have stunt growth and little knowledge and experience about social and cultural lifestyle of people in some other parts of the world. So such places away from home will be visited; places like the United States, UK, and lots of them.

I am a type that stays indoors for too long. I feel this is my confession to make. This has helped me to do my best in terms of research and findings but has deprived me of certain important social programmes. So many people around me never regard me because of my calm nature. This time around, my affirmation in my New Year resolution is to bring out the good in me through associating with neighbours and with this, show my actions and behaviours to those who have not seen me perform before.

Many distractions fill the world today. The only remedy to these scourges is prayers. In as much as I have perfected in my last year resolution to keep my physical health fit, it is another opportunity to take care of my moral life to ensure a balanced living. This I will achieve through prayers to avert distractions construed by evil incarnates operating in the physical and spiritual realms.
