MY FRIEND CALLED

Mario V. Farina

On Monday, my friend called and said she admired me greatly; the time was half past ten.
She called again and said she was very fond of me; the time was half past twelve.
She called once more and said she liked me a lot; the time was half past two.

On Tuesday, my friend called and said she cared for me a great deal; the time was half past twelve.
She called again and said she was greatly attracted to me; the time was half past two.
She called once more and said she loved me very much; the time was half past ten.

On Wednesday, my friend called and said she adored me; the time was half past two.
She called again and said she worshipped me; the time was half past ten.
She called once more and said she could not live without me; the time was half past twelve.

On Thursday, my friend called and said she had found someone new and to ignore what she had said at half past ten, and half past twelve, and half past two.
