My Friend Did You Know

Everyday is a struggle the hardest one within, on the outside you show the world a crooked little grin, What did you think about and how did you cope, did you know the world could see you, did you know that there was hope. The constant numbing of your mind did this make you forget or did it help you day to day with what would happen next.

Did you feel you were alone even among family and friends, or was it just a fight you thought you could never win. Did you feel that you had let the world around you down, or did you wait each day to fight the next round. I'm sure your mind had to wonder if there was a better way, In your heart I know you searched for so many brighter days. Those who talked with you, did so out of love and knowing the good person you are helped you fight the cause.

Now your fight is over your struggle is at rest. Your future is a vapor and your dreams a mere mist.

We are all here now sadden that your gone and with memories of good times in our hearts in us you will live on.

Rest now Son, Brother and Friend, and know that all still love you and that you will be truly missed.
