My friend died yesterday,
she will be missed I must say.
We had a special friendship you see,
she brought us through a stormy sea!
I will dearly miss my friend that's gone,
all the long drives we took together,
now are just memories, that will last forever.
My friend was so dear, but nothing like you'd expect,
my friend was our van, and deserves great respect.
She took us where we needed to be, and only asked for gas.
My friend, she died yesterday, right after we bought her gas,
all the fun times we had, and all the cool places we went,
will never be forgotten, and we'll never have regret.
We'll miss our little van, she was such a real good friend!

Ha that is really cute and I relate to the loss of a faithful car!
we should always appreciate - thanks for reminding me
I enjoyed this. I was relieved to find out that your friend was a van, and not a person!
Excellent! It is amazing how we get so attached to our vehicles.
Ohhh the little twist in the middle! Seems like that van did you good; it will be missed.
Great ode to van that helped you through the tough times.
