My Funniest Moment Being a Mother

What Will They Say Next?

Kelly Fleming
I have to say that kids will say the, darnest things. There are a few different times my son has stopped me in my tracks and needed to take some time to regroup and quit laughing.

I was looking for a website for my 5 year old it was the Cartoon Network site. It was starting to get close to bed time and I was tired. For some reason I just kept messing up the URL. My son was getting a little frustrated because he had 5 minutes to play before bed. He looked at me and said 'Come on, Mom use your brain already.' I could hear my Husband laughing in the other room.

My Mother got a new haircut and it was bad. We were making her feel better by telling her it looks fine don't worry about it. My 3 year old comes in the room and told her she has bad hair. I thought for sure she would start to cry she just picked him up and said, thank you baby you are the only one who was honest.

When my son was 4 years old he had his little friend spend the night who was 3 at the time. I usually just put them in the same bed; my son has a single so they can sleep at one end comfortably. The next morning when I went in to wake them up his friend had peed all over the bed and my son. My boy looked at his friend, then the bed, and looked himself up and down. He got so mad that he went up and pushed his friend. It was funny and after everyone was cleaned up they were playing again.
