My Grandaughter Got Married Saturday

Now She is a Mrs. Instead of a Ms

Sondra C
My granddaughter got married yesterday
She looked like a bride
and why not?
She was a bride and
wore a wedding dress.

The Groom, tall and tanned
had a smile on his face
As my granddaughter
walked down the hilly grass
path into his arms.

The Florida weather
knew this was to be a special day
There was not a cloud in the blue sky
not a sign of rain
and the cool breeze
took over the usual Florida heat

My granddaughter was married yesterday
and as they say
The bride always looks beautiful
and it is so true

My granddaughter looked radiant,
She absolutely glowed
and her happiness
showed through.

My granddaughter got married yesterday
And I had an absolute ball
I danced and laughed and guess what?
I also stood up front and worked with the disk jockey
to play the music
and turn the volume down

It was a day full of fun
laughter, good things to eat...
tears by the tired little ones who wanted to go home
love and introductions
between the two families
who now
are joined as one.

Do you know why the music is always so loud at a wedding? Because the disk jockey does not actually hear how loud it really is from where he stands

My granddaughter already has a child, so I am a great grandma of a 4 year old. You will see her in the pictures I will post. She was one of the flower girls.

How beautiful and I can not imagine you being a grandmother of the granddaughter- marrying age. Wow...I too am a grandparent and this is just so precious and tender. What a loving grandmother you seem.
