My Grandson Mason is My Big 2009 Ice-Cream Buddy!

Phillip W. Chambley
"Oh! What a mess that Paw-Paw and his grandson Mason can make eating ice-cream cones together in the local mall during the year of 2009?----- says "grandma as an innocent by-stander!"------- Every time we take our 3 year old grandson to the the mall each week, he always expects the three of us to eat an ice-cream cone? "Obviously, he has never suffered from any memory loss?"-----------

This healthy and loving 3 year old grandson absolutely "makes our day in history! At anytime or place for the two us as grandparents!" And apparently? he knows exactly where the Chick-Fil-A mall restaurant is!

Leading the both of us to his his usual weekly mall treat of chicken nuggets and as desert a small vanilla ice cream cone! "He comically says?" Paw-Paw this is cold?" You taste it? And of course I do! "Sometimes, even causing a bigger facial mess than he does!"

"Which he laughs at me Paw-Paw with his beautiful smile, using his heart-warming little intelligent mind attitude of? (What will Paw-Paw think of next?). I give him the ice-cream cone back and as normal? Small children are always "curious about the bottom wrapper of this small tasty cheap ice-cream cone purchased in any Chick-Fil-A restaurant nationwide?" Trying to peal it off, wondering what is in the bottom for some strange reason?

"One-time Mason during the summer of 2009 historically slowly actually pealed off the bottom wrapper and started eating the cone from the bottom?" He hilariously realized in his little heart and extremely smart mind that this problem seemed to cause a bigger mess on his face and clothes?

"Ironically? Asking for more napkins at the time!" I gave him more napkins to wipe off his face with and then he laughs at grandpa and grandma that much harder with his lifetime remembrance photographic smile!" (Which I will never forget until the day I die in life).

Grandson Mason suddenly remembers at the mall? "It's time to go to the toy store and buy some toys!" (This particular Atlanta, Ga. mall has a dollar store where we let him pick out cheap un-harmful toys that he can play with home at anytime each week). "It's NOT really the toys Mason picks out? but maybe the fact of shopping and enjoyment as a way of human nature?"

Just last week of November of 2009, Mason told me personally in the store? "Let's go! I am ready to pay!" Naturally, my wife, (his grandma) and me were shocked at his statement!" This tiny little big brown-eyed, blond haired 3 foot tall fellow placed his items on the counter of the store. I gave him the money to pay for the merchandise, and he politely gave it to the clerk.

The female store clerk told him "Thank You!" and gave him his bag of toys which he carefully had chosen during his visit. Apparently, his loving Father (my son Jeremy) and his beautiful wife Karen had taught him in the past the meaning of money. He then proceeded out the door of the store with his small bag in his hand, "and said he was ready to go!"-----------.

"Often-times in life?" We seem to forget about the smallest and most 10 minute moment beautiful times in our lifes?" It's truly amazing how much warmth and happiness a small child can bring to human beings all across the world!"------ My grandson Mason has reminded me of the beauty of daily life and experiencing simple things in life "for the first time!"--------.
