My Greatest Fear

Quickpaws
My greatest fear is not of death,
A sweet release from stress.
My fear is not of lack of cash.
I've learned to live on less.

I don't fear snakes or spiders,
Or a man with mask and glove.
It is that I will never have
A man to share my love.

My greatest need is to be held
And loved throughout the night,
To share my thoughts, my love, my lips,
And feel our hearts ignite.

I need a man to light my fire
And fill my heart with love,
To be his one desire
And be gentle as a dove.

A woman is a flower
Who needs light and love to bloom,
And I am slowly wilting
All alone here in my room.

I pray that I deserve someone,
That love is in God's Will.
If not, just STOP, my beating heart,
For all is lost.
Be still.
