Dear Jonathan,
in God I do trust.
He rules the state of love
where I am determined
to help others.
He rules the state of forgiveness
where I forgive the little hurts
that my brothers and sisters in Christ
cause me.
He rules the state if patience
when I wait in a slow line at Wal Mart.
He rules the state of kindness
when I give to that deaf-mute beggar
who frequents the parking lot
of Food Lion.
in God I do trust.
He rules the state of love
where I am determined
to help others.
He rules the state of forgiveness
where I forgive the little hurts
that my brothers and sisters in Christ
cause me.
He rules the state if patience
when I wait in a slow line at Wal Mart.
He rules the state of kindness
when I give to that deaf-mute beggar
who frequents the parking lot
of Food Lion.
I am joyful, joyful, joyful,
and my heart just sings.
My heart is a Christain nation!

May our hearts ever be a Christian nation - even when we can no longer express it openly.
Beautiful sentiment.
Very pretty letter/poem.
If only more felt this way - beautiful work, found myself reading it in time to God Bless America for some reason.
The American nation would be different if every Christian thought this way. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely Christian thoughts! :-)
Very well written piece.
