waits for the rain to pour
so that ventures out
mean dancing on our dark empty road.
I never knew music until I knew you.
Rhythm has touched my lovely bones,
shaken me,
propelled me.
I am moved by you.
And I see your mouth move,
hear the sound from your parted lips
and I dream of the taste of you.
I crave you
body, mind, and spirit.
You take my breath away.
Compassionate soul,
I adore you,
want to spend my days with you.
How could it be any better?
You sum up my world.
And losing you
is a fear I dare not entertain.
How could I be so presumptious
thinking that I am somehow deserving?
All I know is that I am one blessed soul.
You move me to tears,
to joyous weeping.
