I walk through the cold, crisp snow,
But I cannot find you, where did you go?
Are you waiting for me on the other side?
Oh How I want to just run and hide.
But I cannot find you, where did you go?
Are you waiting for me on the other side?
Oh How I want to just run and hide.
My tears are falling, I miss you so,
Oh Big brother, why did you have to go?
You were my hero, my best friend, the only one I could go to.
I never got a chance to tell you how much I loved you.
The pain inside is real, but I smile,
because I know I'll see you in awhile.

Post a CommentThank you all for your comments. Unfortunately it seems I can only write poems when I'm severely depressed but lately I have been trying to write one while being in a good mood. A poem isn't something you can just force to be wrote but rather something that just comes to you. That's how I wrote most of my stories too. I need to take some time to add some of my stories on here and see what you all think. :)
that peom was so intense that it sent chills up my spine. You have a talent for this. I have not lost anyone as close to me as your brother was to you but I can tell that he was always someone special to you and that you loved him very much.
Very touching.I'm sorry for your loss.My dad died almost two years ago.I've been trying to write a poem about him but it's hard.
What a tribute to your brother and the relationship you had with him. Thank you for sharing with us.
I loved your poem. I lost my sister a couple of years ago. Your poem touched my heart.
