Oh what a happy day it will be
When my Lord and Savior's face I see
When my Lord and Savior's face I see
There will be angels singing with happy voices
The way someone sings when she rejoices
All around will be family and friends
They'll all be so happy to see me again
And St. Peter will be waiting by the gate
"Come on in," he'll say, "Let's not be late! "
"God is waiting, on his throne,
For you to complete your journey home."
I am so excited, no words can ever say
What a blessing I'll receive on that special day!
But, until then I have work to do
And I won' t make that journey until my work is through.
