My JVC Everio Hard Disk Camcorder Brings Me Back in Time
CSO the Numerous Attractive Features of the JVC Everio Have Made it Easier to Capture the Good Times
The Everio's small design, think roughly two rubix cubes next to each other, and simple interface has made it my ideal camera. It's easy to bring anywhere, it's so small and fits so well in my hand that I can do just about whatever I want to without having to stop filming; the camera weighs less then a pound (.88 lbs to be exact). This is the key. This camera is so mobile that it can come with you on adventures that, for some, their previous camera was not as fit to be constantly held if need be.
The Everio's small design is not the only awesome thing about this camera; it also has 32x optical zoom. I don't know about the majority of people, but my last camera was a piece of junk and zoomed 2.5x. Having the ability to zoom 32x actually allows you to use the camera as binoculars if you so incline.
The Everio Hybrid Camera also has the capability, with its 20GB hard drive, to record 25 hours of footage. 25 hours is an incredibly long amount of time to have recorded straight. The camera is so easy to dock with your computer (one USB plug, done) that you can move all your files onto your computer and empty up your cameras memory within minutes. With the ease of throwing the video files right onto my computer so easily it makes it so I never even use a full 25 hours before uploading to my computer- but it's nice to know that I could go 25 hours straight filming without uploading if I wanted to.
The majority of the filming I do with my camera is just when I bring it along with me on hikes or to a special event. Sometimes I'll end up with some footage that I want to make a little movie about - well with the software that comes with the camera, Cyberlink PowerDirector, I am able to easily brighten or dark, speed up/slow down and all that cool stuff. Thanks to my new JVC Everio Hard Disk Camcorder (Model GZ-MG21) I am now able to capture the good times as they are happening and watch them - whenever I want to go back.
