My Kinda Beautiful-Regan

Thanks to the release of the debut album My Kinda Beautiful, listeners are introduced to up-lifting and inspiring tracks from teen pop sensation and former reality star Regan. The album features several heavily-influenced pop tracks reminiscent to the sounds of Taylor Swift, while showcasing the diversity in the vocals of Regan. " I always took off the light-cancelling fabric off the windows so I could have the sunlight fill the booth if it was daytime," recalls Regan, "After I'd let the sun in, I'd take off my shoes and all of my jewelry that had potential to make noise when I'm moving and dancing to the music." With the talent and hard work, Regan was able to deliver her powerful debut album. Stand out tracks on the album include "Live For Today", "Perfect Shade of You", and "My Kinda Beautiful".

"Live For Today", the track off My Kinda Beautiful, features a piano-filled intro and is a soul-inspiring tune. Co-written by Regan and Eddie Galan, the track features inspiring words of encouragement such as"..you gotta let go when you have a doubt/cause the sun still shines when its pouring down/Just lift up your heart and you'll move the clouds away/And just live for today./"

"Perfect Shade of You", Regan's personal favorite track off the album, is a guitar and piano-driven ballad which is similar to the sounds of Country/Pop singer Taylor Swift. After listening to one of the songwriters strumming the guitar and singing the lyrics, Regan fell in love with the Cinderalla-inspired lyrics. "I first heard this song as solely and acoustic guitar and Craig, one of the writers of the song singing the lyrics. I fell in love with it, saw the great potential the song had, and wanted to record it that very second", recalls Regan, "My consultants, if you will, weren't exactly on the same page. They didn't like the song and didn't believe that people my age would even like it. I fought for it and finally convinced them to let me try it, and agreed that if they didn't like the finished project, we'd scratch it. Needless to say they were very surprised and pleased of what the song grew to and it is now the third most downloaded song of mine on iTunes." "Perfect Shade of You" features lyrics describing vivid displays of imagery such as, "...I would run away with you/if you wanted me to/take the road down to nowhere/it doesn't matter to me./"

"My Kinda Beautiful", is an up-lifting tune meant to inspire others to keep living and enjoying each moment of their lives with defining lyrics, "When the light in your eyes comes up somewhere inside/That's my kinda beautiful/When you just gotta smile cause it feels so alive/That's my kinda beautiful./" Regan's positive and up-lifting lyrics are evident in this track along with several others on her debut album. Regan describes her music as "happy" and geared towards teenage girls.
