My Life as Liz Season Finale
The My Life as Liz season finale aired March 8, 2010, but fans desperately want more. The series ended with Liz leaving for New York in an episode titled "The End of the Beginning" according to MTV.
My Life as Liz Season 2
There is already an online petition floating around on Petition Spot so that MTV will create a second season of the show. A second season isn't listed on IMDB and it usually is posted when a series is in production. MTV has yet to release an official statement, but it is quite likely there will be a second season. Fans will just have to wait to find out if there will be a My Life as Liz Season 2.
Series Themes
The show dealt with topics that teens can relate to. It covered the desire to be an individual, teasing and teen love. Liz has a crush on her friend Bryson, but he already has a bland-looking girlfriend. He is the object of her affection throughout the entire season and teens were rooting for them to get together up until the season finale.
Is My Life as Liz Fake?
Many fans had speculations that the show is completely fake and felt confused by it at first. Previous students from Burleson High School added fuel to the rumor by posting their take on the show on the web. The show uses real people acting in a dramatized version of themselves so it isn't completely fake or real. Los Angeles Times reported that the show is like a hybrid of reality television and a sitcom.
My Life as Liz aired at 10:30 p.m. on Mondays and is on heavy rotation throughout the week. You can watch full episodes, read recaps and check out cast photos for My Life as Liz on MTV.com.
