My Little Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank You
for the simple fare
that You place on my table,
anything more
would make me sick.
Thank You
for the simple fare
that You place on my table,
anything more
would make me sick.
Thank You
for the humble roof
that You have placed over my head,
anything bigger
would be a distraction
and take me from the work
that I am supposed to do.
Thank You
for my basic transportation,
anything fancier
would be a financial burden
and I wouldn't be able to give
like I want to.
Oh Lord
you really do provide
"everything that is profitable
for life and godliness.
Thank You, Lord.
