"Why, my love, do you torment me like this? I do not curse you, I worship you." he begged.
"No!" she cried, "I am sick of you and your lies."
"Darling--
"Do not speak to me or I will tear out your heart out like you have done mine." she interrupted with increasing anger.
"You do not mean that" he tried reasoning.
"Really?" she laughed. "You are so sure of yourself, aren't you? You think that everyone loves you and I'm supposed to accept your lies You are wrong, my love," she said through clenched teeth "dead wrong."
"I thought we loved each other."
"You thought I loved you, but you had no love for me. I despise you!"
"What is the reason for this? Have I hurt you? Please give me another chance." He reached out his arms to her.
"No second chances." she said before she plunged the knife she was hiding behind her back into her lover's heart. She pulled out the knife and watched the blood drip down it before tossing it to the floor. She left the room, but before she closed the door forever she whispered "Fate is funny, isn't it, my love?" with a sinister smile across her ruby lips. She tossed her long hair over her pallid shoulder and walked down the dismal corridor with her long white gown trailing behind her as she hummed the tune of an ancient Gaelic funeral song.

Post a CommentLove it. Understand it. (of course in real life, she should just boot him to the curb, but in fiction, this serves the purpose for a great surprise ending!)
Gyani, if you don't understand it, hopefully it is b/c you are an honest guy. There are many guys out there who are absolutely astounded that a woman will see through their lies and furthermore will not accept them.
Wow. Very imaginative.
that is a very good peom if yo can call it that
It sounds very abrupt! It doesn't sound believable. I can't make out what made the girl kill the guy.
Great writing! I love your stories.
