My Love Consumes Me
The moon circles around you.
You are my earth.
Starlights twinkle because of your laughter,
and the flowers grow because of your beauty.
I am me and yet not I because you have made me better than myself.
I had thought that love like ours was only in faerie tales and midnight fantasies.
Places that only exist in a young girls dreams.
You are my prince, riding in on a white horse,
whisking me away to a better and more beautiful place.
You are my Heaven.
I have wondered if you are an angel...
What else could you be?
I often don't say the words before you, or reach out when you need my touch...
There are times when it all scares me...
And that is foolish.
I wish only that I could express my love for you in all the right words.
I don't think that there are enough words...
I want you to know that I need you
My love for you...
It consumes me.
