I can take it anywhere
When I'm needing it, it's there
It fits right in my pack
That I carry on my back
I can take it on a plane
Without the dreaded scanner pain
I can use it on a bus
And nobody makes a fuss
I can drop it on the floor
And it springs right back for more
I can leave it in my car
It's always safe from harm
Nobody tries to steal it
So light I barely feel it
It needs no source of power
Goes for hour after hour
All I really need's a pen
And I'm set; alrighty, then!

Post a Commentlol, have many of them, but every time I use one, I have to search them all to see which it was, lol :)
Cute! :)
Very witty... :)
Great point here, Bat, wrapped in a very cute poem. I have so many notebooks, old partially-filled journals, scraps of paper & napkins w/ "brilliant" works scrawled on them, but finding the ones I want when I want them... that's the challenge! BTW, we don't have a laptop, just the sits-on-the-desk & stares at us kind. But at least we got so-called high speed internet this yr. I felt like we entered the 21st century! Personally, I love the feel of pen on paper. And I think poetry should always be hand-written. The artistry of it gets lost in hard print letters. Cool work here, Ms Canary!
Why is it that no one seems to get the value of pen and paper? Me? I LOVE my Moleskines. Glad to have found you here.
This is so cute! I do most of my writing on a keyboard nowadays...but I do love the feel of a pen and notebook in my hands. :)
Hot dig! Where can I get one of them? Very clever.
I drop mine on the floor and it costs me $300+. What kind of laptop do you have?
I use a notebook (paper kind) all the time! This is adorable! I am a note taker from waaaaay back!
A pen will do in a pinch... but I think better with my fingers on a keyboard!!
