My Manic Month of Neopets "Key Quest": Halloween Paid Off for This Freak

I'm one of those people that get an idea stuck in their head and just can't shake it. I wanted to play an entire month's worth of Key Quest and redeem ten keys a day to see if playing on a regular basis would yield better prizes when redeeming keys. There were three days of constant glitches where I was unable to earn keys so my list is short 30 - 40 keys. Silver keys earn you three prizes, gold are worth four. Since I only play the two person games with five keys to obtain I know I will get at least one of those two. When I was a noob I had no idea the amount of time I was wasting with the four player games. Oh what a difference a few years can make.

When Key Quest was giving away the Halloween prizes there were some awesome things given away - that also meant that there was a price drop on the Shop Wizard and a lot of complaining from people who were hoping to make some fat NP from selling the Halloween themed items. This is the list of the 'rare' things that I won when redeeming keys in October. Some of these items are still being given out at the Apple Bobbing section of the site - that was supposed to be a limited time event for Halloween but now it is a "Neopet Daily"!

In addition to the above prizes I also ended up with a lot of junk. Even though most of these items sell for one to five Neopoints they are still worth hoarding because eventually they could be worth a lot. Keep in mind that food and books are one time use items so once you feed them to your pet or read them a book they are no longer in your inventory. Cheap Books and Cheap Foods are worth hoarding but when you get them at Key Quest it sort of sucks.
