My Memory

April Higney
Please do not cry for me,
never shed a tear for me,
when I'm gone I'll still be here,
look to the rivers flowing,
look to the flowers growing,
in colors of the northern lights, I'll still be near.

Please do not cry for me,
never shed a tear for me,
when I'm gone I'll still be by your side,
look to the heart of you,
look to the mountains view,
in all the happinesses, I'll be there to guide.

Please never be let down,
remember laughter, how we use to clown,
never let sadness consume your heart,
when I'm gone, my memory will remain,
in the most gentle soothing rain,
and I'll be there in those thoughts, never to part.

Please let me be all your happy dreams,
starlight and moonbeams,
never let those good moments slip away.
Please do not cry for me,
never shed a tear for me,
and my loving spirit, by you, will stay.
