As I play my guitar
I sing to my star
Wishing upon that star
To heal the scar
That remains deep in my heart
As I collect my art
The melody I start
Playing and singing is the other part
My heart pours out the word
I hope everyone has heard
This is what I had perferred
For everyone to have heard
The melody is like my sorrow
The words are my past and morrow
Take in the sorrow
And wish it to come again tomorrow
My music is my life
This is how I thrive
If only I do it live
To do better I strive
