And I have an addiction problem....
I wanted to announce the world......
Hoping the embarrassment will help me solve them.
I thought I would just try it....
It began as relaxation to keep me sane....
I thought it would help the hurting process....
But now it's hard to tame.
The hurt and self-doubt I have....
It makes it disappear....
But when I come back to reality....
The problems come back along with fear.
It started with a drink or two....
With friends or on a date....
Now it's five or six....
I'm alone and there's no mate.
So I am saying this today...
Because I am trying to stop....
I no longer feel good about myself....
Or looking at my eyes that were beautiful, but now bloodshot.
