Miriam "Mimi" Jacobs is a proud mom and grandmother. Her granddaughter, Candace, was born with a rare condition called Giant Nevus. We live in a society who cares so much about what others think that they limit and alter who they are to fit in. Candace's story is so powerful; here is an eight (8) year old girl who was born with a large mole or birthmark covering half of face, yet she walks around with her head up high, is well spoken, and full of confidence, which says a lot about her upbringing.

Mimi Jacobs is an author, poet, and professional speaker. She is the founder and CEO of Candalyse Publishing, named after two of her granddaughters Candace and Alyse.
