College Football is Back Her is My First Rankings

The college football season is just around the corner; back for a third straight season on Associated Content is My Rankings. Here is my first ranking, the 2010-2011 Preseason ranking. Yes, there are some powder puff match ups to start the season but there are also some important early season games as well. #4 Boise State and #7 Virginia Tech clash at Redskins Park on Labor Day night. #5 TCU faces #23 Oregon State at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Saturday September 4th. #13 Pittsburg at #24 Utah on Thursday September 2nd. #14 LSU versus #18 North Carolina in Atlanta on Saturday September 4th.

1) Alabama Crimson Tide defends their national title against San Jose State to start the season on Saturday September 4th.

2) Texas Longhorns visits Houston to play Rice at Reliant Stadium to start their season on Saturday September 4th.

3) Ohio State hosts Marshall on Thursday September 2nd.

4) Boise State clashes with Virginia Tech to open the season on Monday September 6th.

5) TCU entertains #23 Oregon State at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Saturday September 4th.

6) Oklahoma hosts Utah State on Saturday September 4th

7) Virginia Tech tangles with Boise State outside Washington, DC on Labor Day.

8) Florida hosts Miami (Ohio) on Saturday September 4th.

9) Penn State hosts Youngstown State on Saturday, September 4th.

10) Nebraska hosts Western Kentucky on Saturday September 4th.

11) Oregon hosts New Mexico on Saturday September 4th.

12) Miami hosts Florida A&M on Thursday September 2nd.

13) Pittsburgh visits number 24 Utah on Thursday September 2nd.

14) LSU meets #18 North Carolina on Saturday September 4th in Atlanta.

15) Iowa hosts Eastern Illinois on Saturday September 4th.

16) USC travels to Hawaii on Thursday September 2nd.

17) Wisconsin travels to UNLV on Saturday September 4th.

18) North Carolina meets 14th ranked LSU in Atlanta on Saturday September 4th.

19) Georgia hosts Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday September 4th.

20) Georgia Tech hosts South Carolina State on Saturday September 4th.

21) Florida State hosts Samford on Saturday September 4th.

22) Arkansas hosts Tennessee Tech on Saturday September 4th.

23) Oregon State travels to Dallas to meet #5 TCU on Saturday September 4th.

24) Utah hosts #13 Pittsburgh on Thursday September 2nd.

25) West Virginia hosts Coastal Carolina on Saturday September 4th.
