My Neopets "Key Quest Project" (Week 9) Double Key Redemption, Double Disappointment

Now that things have gotten back to normal at Key Quest (or as normal as it can be at the portal) I was a little excited to do a key redemption to see if there were any new prizes added to the rotation. Sadly, it's the same stuff that was being given out before the summer theme. In a way you can't really complain all that much because you are getting stuff for free but the market is so saturated with some items that it will take a long, long time for them to rebound. That doesn't stop me from hoarding up a storm but it does get a little frustrating to work hard to get keys only to have them spit out things that are selling for 5 NP. I keep hoping that this Halloween will bring another double key weekend, I will be all over the like a fly on stink.

My second set of keys was worse than the first. I only got one Codestone and two Neggs. Every time I redeemed a key I had to laugh; I am the person that always say, "at least it's free stuff" but when you play fair, don't quit games and try to do the right thing to help other players and all you get are el cheapo items it does sting a little. Granted, it is probably a random thing but at this stage in the game I have redeemed a total of 485 keys (most Silver) and haven't really seen a ton of great items outside of Codestones, Neggs and if my memory serves me, a couple of map pieces.
