My Neopets "Key Quest Project" (Week Eight) It's Raining Codestones!

After complaining about not getting that many Codestones with my last batch of key redemptions at Key Quest I ended up with a ton of them this time around. I wasn't expecting to get two Neggs given the number of Codestones I got so it was a sweet deal for me. I started keeping track of the NP I was earning from the Key Quest games I played; my average was about 1,300 NP a game. Not bad if you can find the time to play, come across people who don't quit and can hit the site when there are no glitches happening. I had about a half hour of the mini games not working at all; the main page would load but with no pictures, just the text information. This seemed to be limited to those playing in the United States; my NeoFriends in other countries had no problems but everyone in the USA was having the same mini game issue.

As usual there are some junk items but even those are worth hoarding. Cheap stamps, cheap books and other assorted oddities could get retired without warning so it never hurts to have a couple hundred of these things in your Safety Deposit Box. Getting six Codestones was awesome, the first four keys I redeemed had me giggling away and I though my luck ran dry when I started getting crappy items but it rebounded towards the end with a couple more Codestones and two different Neggs. I played the Haunted Woods board to earn all of these keys, redeemed them all at the same time and used all Silver keys. I am saving up my Gold ones for when the summer promotion is over.
