My Only Side
I try so hard
To be the one
Who is kind
Gentle and loving
I show one side
My only side
But yet someone always
Knocks me to the ground
Rude comments, accusations
All of which I don't understand
All I try to do is be nice
To be me
Why do some people make it so hard
Like I am this horrible person
That only tries to hurt
When all I do is try to help
Try to make everyone happy
What about me, does anyone ever think of me?
