Hello, Henry is another great episode of My Own Worst Enemy. Even though the character of Edward is the original personality, it seems the writers are focusing on Henry. Fine by me because Henry is hilarious in his attempts at dealing with having a killer alter ego.
Henry of course thinks Edward killed Henry's doctor friend but I don't think he was the one. Henry is very quick to think the worst of Edward, which turns out to be very plausible when Henry learns Edward took their daughter on a meeting with a not very nice Mexican contact. But I am getting a head of myself. That scene is actually at the end of the episode.
The writers are trying to involve more characters in the storyline so we finally see more of Henry's wife, Edward. We also see more of Tom's wife Mary. Raymond is not as good as Edward in pacifying his alter-ego's spouse so Mary is starting to suspect Tom is having an affair. Tom does his best to pacify his wife but Raymond screws the situation up again when he stands Mary up for another date while he globe trots around the world after a female spy. Mary has had enough and hires a private investigator. It might not matter because the episode ends with Raymond having a gun pointed at him. I'm sure Raymond won't be killed. Well at least I hope not, I look forward to learning more about Raymond/Tom.
My Own Worst Enemy does get a little confusing when Henry takes over in Mexico, gets drunk, and precedes to tell the bad Mexican guy top secret information. Henry is definitely close to the edge of losing it and seems to not care if he gets killed or not. That part seems not plausible because I was under the impression Henry wanted to keep his normal life. Why he was so willing to get drunk and careless is beyond me? Perhaps he is just trying to get back at Edward. If so get over it and quit putting your life in danger.
The episode ends with a great twist. Henry is upset that Edward put their daughter in danger so he decides to talk to the FBI, or so he thinks he is going to talk to the FBI. Turns out it is just a guy from Edward's company who is sent to kill Edward if he thinks the chip has failed. The fake FBI agent is about to shoot Henry when suddenly the agent gets shot in the chest. Dr. Noah Skinner emerges from the shadows as the killer. Apparently she takes her job of protecting Henry very seriously. I give the episode 4 out of 5 stars.
