My Personal Review of 5 Diet Friendly Frozen Pizzas

Gladys Stiles
Everyone, at some point in their life, has been on a diet. If you recall, being on that diet wasn't very fun. Dieting can be hard as you can't eat the foods you love. Almost everyone loves pizza and this is definitely a diet "no-no". Thankfully, many food companies have been working to make this no pizza diet rule go away by making "diet pizzas". I personally have tried the following five diet pizzas and am going to give you my personal experience and taste. That way you can have an insider's look on how they truly taste and not what the companies tell you.

1. Lean Cuisine - Spinach and Mushroom Pizza: I loved it! I was iffy on how it would taste in the microwave (gooey and/or too soft). I took it out and waited for it to cool and I cut it into fourths. I added salt and extra pepper (as I do to everything) and took a bite. YUMMY! I like this pizza especially because I'm not much of a meat eater and meat is something you need to cut down on if you're watching your cholesterol. I also got full before I was even done which is odd because the pizza isn't very big. I guess when it's loaded with healthy vitamins, it'll do that. That is why I chose this pizza as my number one favorite.

2. Lean Pockets -Four Cheese: I eat these even when I'm not on a diet! You would think that since the product only has four cheeses it wouldn't taste very good. Wrong! It's very flavorful and the marinara sauce really compliments the cheese flavor.

3. Kraft South Beach - Pepperoni Pizza: I just loved it! I was thinking if this would be great or not but it ended up tasting wonderful. I especially loved the crust. The pizza has a whole wheat crust which cooks up really crispy but tastes great. The pizza is available in 4 varieties of flavors. Plus the pizza has only about 20 net carbs.

4. Kashi - Roasted Garlic Pizza: What a taste! It's something different that I have ever tried. It's a new way to eat pizza. The all-natural pizza have a Seven Whole Grain and Sesame blend crust with flax seeds, and each serving gets you between 4 and 5 grams of fiber, 8 grams of whole grains and 15 to 19 grams of protein. That's certainly something you can feel good about. I really enjoyed eating this pizza very it's very yummy.

5. Amy's - Roasted Vegetable Pizza: Amy's Kitchen has designed a frozen, cheeseless, roasted vegetable pizza that is simply heavenly! Topped with marinated organic shiitake mushrooms, roasted red peppers, sweet onions and marinated artichoke hearts. It's actually good hot or cold. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a healthy diet vegan pizza.
