I was watching Oprah one day and my step-daughter 9 at the time was in the room with me. I had to get up and use the facilities. The show just started so I was unaware of what was on that day. Oprah was talking about sex and one of the topics was oral sex. She asked me when I returned what is oral sex. My mouth just dropped to the ground and I did not know what to do. I kept thinking where the handbook on this is or even that guy on TV with the teleprompter showing the Mom what to say.
The first thing out of my mouth was "why don't you ask your Father when he gets home." I have never really been around children before and I did not know what to do. All of the experiences I had with her definitely prepared me for dealing with certain things with my boy's.
