MY PET PEEVES

Mary Naylor  confirmed
Well, my cat Juneberry is my pet peeve.

When I try to sit, she jumps in my chair,

And she just won't move, when she's asked to leave,

Glaring, "I was here first. It's just not fair!"

My cat, Echo, is another pet peeve.

She wants her treat, and she wants it N-O-O-O-W!

She follows me, and around my legs weaves.

I can't take a step! "I want me treat! M-E-O-0-W!

But Strawberry is my biggest peeve.

He loves my bracelet, I keep in a box.

If I leave it out, he hides it to tease.

It seems the litter box is his Fort Knox!

Then Juneberry let's me sit in my chair;

As Strawberry brings me my bracelet, litter and all.

Echo weaves a love-knot into my hair,

And we nestle and hug until dreamland calls.

    Cats are awesome. I think it's funny that they have their own little quirks.
