My Plan for Making More Money on Associated Content

How to Make More Money Writing Articles for Associated Content

Susan Sonnen
Currently, I am need of extra income. Extra income as in full time income. I write. One of my clients is Associated Content. While I must admit that I have not previously actively pursued a solid income from Associated Content, it is by far my favorite content website. Why? Because Associated Content is proven. Associated Content has been a firm presence on the Web for years. They are not going anywhere. Associated Content is constantly improving it's format and encouraging it's writers. Best of all, Associated Content consistently pays for interesting, searchable and well written content. Keeping these things in mind, I have formulated a plan for making more money on Associated Content.

My Plan for Making More Money on Associated Content: Write More Celebrity and News Articles

The majority of my Associated Content articles have been preschool lesson plans. I also focus on literacy and psychology issues. While these subjects are close to my heart, they do not tend to bring in wild numbers of page views. I wrote a celebrity news article yesterday and submitted it to Associated Content for upfront payment. I am anxious to see if it qualifies for upfront payment and, even more importantly, if it brings in a healthy number of page views. I am hopeful that it will, as I have noticed that many successful AC writers focus on celebrity content.

My Plan for Making More Money on Associated Content: Write 7 Days A Week

Due to a pressing financial circumstance, my poetry and fiction writing must be set on the back burners. Life in general must be set aside with the exception of content writing for the time being. I can accept that and put in the excessive overtime with a positive attitude because I understand that it is a temporary situation. Within a month, two at the most, I will be able to slow down.

My Plan for Making More Money on Associated Content: Work Harder at Promoting my Articles

I need to better and more frequently utilize my Twitter account for my Associated Content articles. I also intend on participating in the Associated Content forums. Granted, this is with the hope of generating page views of my articles, but at the same time, I want to get to know some of the people here. A writer's life is oftentimes a lonely one and mine will be especially secluded over the next few weeks.

My Plan for Making More Money on Associated Content: Key Word Density and SEO

There are also the standard tips of improving key word density skills and honing up on SEO. Associated Content is filled with excellent articles on those subjects. I will take advantage of the advice offered by my peers.

In closing, I will keep you updated with my progress in the comments section of this article. Hey, a little accountability can only help, right?

Accountability is where it's at. I say learn what you can from the forums and other writers, but most of all, just write... It's the writing that counts more than anything on Associated Content.
