My Poetry is SOOOOO Good..

My poetry is so good
It makes people cry!
(It's not true what they say
They cry because they wish I'd stop!)

My poetry is so good
It gracefully flows!
(It's not true what they say
It's more like being at the elephants' hop!)

My poetry is so good

Don't sell yourself short, Mary. You are awesome (I still cry whenever I read your "The Pretend Easter Bunnny" poem/story). However, I still understand where you're coming from; I, too, am my own worst critic!

Mary, your poetry IS good..Sometimes, I also wonder if I am as really good as people say that I am. I have to believe that I am, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it at all. The ability to write is a God-given gift. However, writers, like all other artists, should accept the compliments with gratitude and humility.
