My Precious Mama

You Only Have One Mama-Hold Her Tight While You Can

The Death Angel Crept In From
Darkness

No Way To Stop Him, This Moment
Was Prearranged

Is That The Death Rattle, I Hear In
Her Breath?

Skin So Very Cold But Her Hair Felt
Wet

Tears On My Face Can't Console My
Broken Heart

As My Precious Mother Passed This
Life At 3:00

I know She Flew Away To That Beautiful
Golden Shore

Where There's No Sorrow, No Pain,
Only Goodness Forevermore

Now Hand In Hand With Our Savior
The One She So Adored

I Love You Mama!

Revelation 21:4

And God Shall Wipe Away All Tears From
Their Eyes; And There Shall Be No More
Death, Neither Sorrow, Nor Crying, Neither
Shall THere Be Any More Pain: For The Former
Things Are Passed Away.

Thank you for this poem. My father passed away a year ago, and my mother is in a nursing home. There's a beautiful song that says, "I miss you, but Heaven's better with you there."

Hi Cathie, what a beautiful poem. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad 22 years ago, I definitely can relate, and with Mom's Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, I can feel your pain. Your Mother was truly blessed to have you by her side, and you will one day be with her again. Take care and God Bless. Hugs Mary
