My Pregnancy

My pregnancy was horrible! Well at least to me. The first couple of months were ok. I didn't really have any morning sickness or any pain. I do remember that smells were driving me crazy and my appetite was outrageous. The majority of my pregnancy was pretty much ok to deal with. The drama came around my last couple of months. I would have these spells, like I was light headed, and would become real dizzy. Next thing I knew my heart would beat super fast and I would see lights before my eyes. Those who were right next to me would sound like they were in a tunnel.

Each time that I would go to the doctor they would tell me to eat more protein, or that I needed iron because I was so anemic. Some would tell me that this was my first pregnancy and that I was just scared. When it all came down to it, something was wrong. My daughter had stopped moving and the doctors had no idea what was going on. They had me on the stress test for about 8 hours. Once they gave me an ultrasound, which I had been asking for all day they saw fluid around my daughter lung, heart, brain, and liver. She had hydrops. They rushed me into a emergency c-section where I delivered my baby. She had complications at birth but is doing fine now. I love my daughter, and looking back to how she fought to be here, I know she loves me too.
