Heavenly Father
Before you I pray
For the strength and courage
To live my life, glorifying your name.

I am but your servant
A tool at best
Submerged in an ocean of sin
Striving to pass the test.

Blind faith and obedience
Of your spoken word
I shall remain steadfast and honor
Humble I abide, I am of your heard.

I quietly wait
And intently I listen
My goal is to see
Those pearly gates glisten.

Standing before you
At that moment in time
Awaiting your embrace, as you say
"Come child, it is time".
