My Reply to Jason Burkett's Letter I Received Yesterday

I'm going to post this letter to you Jason because frankly I am pretty pissed off with you and I'm not going to allow you to turn my words around. You know Jason I know about the letters you received from Emily Powers, Steve Jackson, and you know the other ones. Honestly Steve Jackson is probably just looking out for your best interest but I find it funny that he says that since twice he has tried to get me to do work for him now.

Now let me deal with Emily Powers; I make it no secret I don't like Emily Powers and I don't trust Emily Powers and you do at your own peril frankly. Let me tell you about a few little emails I have from Ms. Powers, and like everything including all of your letters Jason I keep them all in a file.

Let me tell you about an email I received from Ms. Powers in October 2006 whereby she wanted me to "set you up" and to solicit information she needed for Michael's case that she felt that only you could provide, and my response to that was "no I don't operate that way".

Let me tell you about an email I received from Ms. Powers in December 2006 where she asked me "If I knew Jason was innocent and Michael was guilt who would I help?" My response to her was if Jason was innocent and Michael guilty you can bet I'm not going to let an innocent man sit in prison, and her response to that was she got angry at me and said very rudely "I thought so" and signed off the computer because she was mad.

Now let me talk about a recent email I got from Ms. Powers where she told me that Kathy (your mom) and she had been kind of communicating here recently and she was building a trust with your mother and could use her to get information, and my response to that email was for her to leave your mom alone.

Now I could go on and on with emails I have in my files on probably every character you have letters from. Oh Emily told you I was not on Michael's Defense Team and that is absolutely true I am not; I left it in April or March 2007 when I was sick of my own free will unlike Ms. Powers who was "fired" by the attorney for sending nude pictures over a cell phone to Michael in prison; your new friend is a real class act or a slut which ever you chose. Oh and lets talk about who is not truthful here; Ms. Powers went behind her employer's back, Michael's attorney, and engaged in both unethical and potentially illegal activities while representing this attorney thus risking his job, his future career, and his family, so now exactly who is the untrustworthy one?

Now you say you were told I ran people off and alienated people from Michael's case; Guilty as charged! You should see the whacko's around this case; these "prison groupies" just amaze me. I even had three of these whackos, including Emily; call me at home or on my cell phone literally crying because "Michael didn't love them". You would not believe the people that have promised Michael the world only to be full of shit. Now there was this one bitch I call the Nazi bitch from Germany, she would try to draw you into a conversation and then run to Michael and say you said this or that, but she never told Michael what she ever said. Truthfully I think she was really a man that had a sex change but then she likes both men and women so hey she might be fun in bed.

Now let me talk about this attorney John Wright that I ran off; in I think it was November 2006. He met with Michael, now Wright was not even Michael's attorney, and he and Michael argued over something and Wright told Michael that "He would make sure not to much effort was put into his appeal". Now for several weeks Michael was upset and literally crying in the letters I received and when I finally got it out of him what had happened your damn right I was pissed; how dare he do that to a guy stuck in prison fighting for his life that can't defend himself. So I had a little discussion with this attorney and five minutes into our conversation even though he denied it I knew he was lying and he did in fact threaten Michael, so I told him he better never talk to Michael like that again and he better straighten his ass up or he would deal with me next. So this shit with this guy went on till about June 2007 when he tried to pressure Michael into signing a paper so that he could submit it to the state claiming he was Michael's attorney so he could get money from the state, and I told him over my dead body, and that if he ever came near the case I would fly to Houston and talk to the judge personally about the crap he has pulled on Michael.

Now let's talk about your friend Audrey Rife; she was Michael's supposed investigator. She had been on Michael's case for months, and I constantly got letters from Michael saying Ray help me she won't listen to me, so I would tell her straighten her ass up because she works for Michael not John Wright who was not even Michael's attorney. The final straw came when she went to Michael's parent in December 2006 and told them she could find no evidence to suggest Michael was innocent, and I said what? Because from 1200 miles away I had found several areas of concern, so upon Michael's request I told her she was either leaving the case or I would have Michael's law firm fire her. See your little friend Audrey is an interesting character to because she was fired from her job in Houston because she was considered lazy, her work was sloppy and incomplete, and numerous clients complained about her work quality, so Ms. Rife opened her own business and I can tell you she is floundering financially and will probably not be in business much longer because she is losing clients right and left. People like that in the business are referred to as "blood suckers" because they find a client, do very little work, and suck the client dry of money. She wanted $10,000 from your mom and she got paid no where's near that on Michael's case, but I will tell you that she is not even suppose to be talking to you because of the fact she worked for Michael; that would be like Steve Jackson becoming Michael's attorney, it just can't be done.

Michael likes to call me his "enforcer" because if somebody needs an attitude adjustment or a good swift kick in the ass I'm the person who does it. Hell two weeks ago I called his attorney a slimy piece of shit because of the way he handle Michael's situation, and do I apologize for it? Nope I don't because he is a slimy piece of shit.

Now let me tell you what I have endured from Michael's friends; well you already know about Emily stealing money from Michael's supporters to pay for cell phones so she could send her nudes to Michael so I won't spend much time on that.

Now in July my wife got a call from our bank, while I was in the hospital, and the banker asked her if she knew a person by the name of Rebecca and Cindy advised not that she knows of, and the banker said this Rebecca wanted to know how much money we had in our accounts; can you believe the nerve of that woman, and the only way she could have found out my account number was from Emily because I sent her some money by check a couple times. Well we were baffle for a while till I got a letter from Michael talking about Rebecca and I said to myself why you little son of a bitch.

I have a little mobile home in Polk City that was owned by my parents before they passed away and it is now owned by my two sisters and two brothers and I, I bought my sisters out about two years ago because they were so disgusted with my brother that they wanted out so I own 60% of the property. I can't sell the property because one brother refuses to sell it, and if I take them to court and order the sale of the property I have to give them 40% of the profit from the sale of the house and neither of them has paid one dime in maintenance and upkeep for over ten years; I pay all the utilities, upkeep, taxes, and insurance, lawn service, etc... so I'll be damned if I sell that property, so in 2001 I decided hey I needed an office for my business and I had that mobile home so I use it as an office. I get the mail from you and Michael sent there because frankly I don't know you or the people surrounding you and Michael and I would never put my family at risk; communicating with inmates is something I have never done before. Well anyways this Rebecca started searching for properties I own and because she was so dumb she doesn't know I have all my assets hidden in an LLC for tax purposes so the only thing she could find is the mobile home because I can't put that in the LLC when it is jointly owned, but can you believe the nerve of these people.

See for some reason Michael thinks I'm a millionaire and I'm not; my wife and I have decent money saved in 401K, mutual funds, and stocks for retirement. I have a trust fund set up for AJ for college and to give him a start in life, and we own several pieces of property that have mortgages on them, could I come up with $500,000 sure if I want to lien every asset we own. My wife comes from a very wealthy family and some day she may be rich but my wife and I are our own people and we don't live off her parents or their deaths. Cindy makes about $45,000 as a teacher and I made $335,000 running my business, but I also have a son who thinks he is entitled to every toy or gadget that comes along; I have a wife that likes $100 bottles of wine and I do to, and I spent almost $250,000 on medical bills this year. Now that I am retired I get $3000 a month from disability from the state for my injuries in law enforcement; I get just over $1500 social security disability, and my wife gave me $5000 so I can play around with my stocks; that is all I have. Cindy controls all the money and all our assets so all I get to spend is the $1500 and what I make off my stock and I can't seem to get Michael to understand I'm not rich anymore. Now I will tell you I do have money hidden that Cindy doesn't know about, well she probably does, but she doesn't say anything about but I use that for my little trips and stuff to Conroe.

Let me ask you this Jason when have I ever asked you about your case and think long and hard because I have your letters? Once you told me about your appeal did I not tell you don't tell me about your case? I believe my exact words to you were if you want to talk about stuff I will listen but I'm not going to pump you for information. The only thing you and I discussed were those statements and I warned you to be very careful with them and you asked me my opinion and I gave it to you and it blew up in your face didn't it?

But I just want you to think how have I ever set you up? I neither have asked you for anything or any information and you have neither given me information so how is that setting you up and being dishonest? If that is or was my goal I'm pretty piss poor at it and you know that's not true.

Now did I tell you about my past when frankly I didn't have to? But I wanted it out in the open to clear the air with you; I never hid it from you. Sure I don't like talking about it because it hurts me badly but I did so give me credit for that at least.

Yeah I let you post stuff on my site and hell yes I comment and will challenge you on that evidence and you better get use to it and be able to answer every question because a federal judge is going to ask you the very same questions but 100 times harder and more personal, but give me credit for at least being a man of my word and posting things exactly as you write them. You know Jason and I know you don't understand this but by JD and I challenging you we are preparing you for the tougher battles coming down the line.

Do I attack people on my site? Sure I do because this is criminal law and it is a rough and tumble game my boy, and if you want to play it you better be ready to get in the trenches and go toe to toe with these people. Now I want you to think about my motives in attacking Amanda Epps, Monte Morast, and say Carey Mace; if you claim you didn't do these crimes and Michael claims he didn't do it then I have to find the weaknesses in the state's case and you exploit that, and those three are weak links, and I have and I intend to continued my bombardment against them, so when you put all those weak links together in one package you make a convincing case to a judge.

Now I want you to think long and hard here Jason who has provided you with more of the stuff you have asked for then anybody, and what benefit do I receive from that? Hell about all I got from you was a nasty letter; you know you never once even said thanks, and I just gave your mother something yesterday that I want you to look at because I find it an interesting argument.

Now I want you to think long and hard on this; I want you to look at everybody that you claim sent you a letter and ask yourself this, what are they up to? What are their motives? Now Emily is just setting you up and if you trust her you're a fool and I will never help you or provide you with any information if you deal with her; I don't like her or trust her. Ask your mom why Emily sent you that letter; she did it because I have been kicking her ass all over my site and she is mad, and she and Melyssa have been in contact for months that I know of. I have no idea what they talk about but I do know Melyssa wrote Michael several letters last year trying to begin a romantic relationship and when Michael told her he wasn't interested she moved on; sorry Jason I was keeping that to myself but you have a right to know, and you also need to know that "I" personally gave Melyssa those transcripts you wanted a year ago because she said she was working for Michael as an investigator from Iowa which was a lie when I checked with Iowa. Your relationship with Melyssa is your business frankly and I could careless but don't you wonder what sort of scheme Emily and her have going? They sure seem awfully close. You know Jason you need to make up your own mind because you are your own man and I doubt I would help you again after your last letter to me anyways but I will tell you be very careful just outright believing people that come forward throwing accusations around like that bimbo Emily.
