Or Resurrection day
By spending it with My Savior
In that very special way
I spent the day in worship
I listened to the Word
I praised and sang the songs he loves
My joyful noise he heard
I heard his special message
Made especially for me
It was a word of liberation
It truly set me free
From past sun-up till past the noonday
I sat excitedly in my bench
I heard all that he'd gone through
To save me, a worthless wretch
You see, for me, it's not about a rabbit
Or chocolate candy, or the clothes
It's about my risen Savior
And the saving of my soul
You see, my soul needs a destination
A place to go when my life is done
A place of peace and eternal rest
A place promised me by the Son
It's a place up there in heaven
It's where my treasure is
It's mine; no one else can have it
According to his promises
