I must admit to not watching Jericho on a regular basis BUT I did watch it enough to know that Jericho as gone to hell and back as a town, has lost 65 people and they are still in for a rough road even if this revamping is for real.
How can they, the writers, create peace and yet keep the energy going that war, love, and surviving created in the past episodes?
For the record I do not agree with what they have done with the flag! I understand fighting for survival. It happens every day. Our world has been doing this for generations. But in the world that we live in today with the war in Iraq going on, with our kids, husbands, and friends dying for our flag, to present it, even in a television show, in anyway but the real way doesn't set will with me. Maybe this will prove to be a scam and the flag will be the hint or the proof that it is a scam. I really hope so.
It is my opinion that this is some sort of a scam, again. This may not be as destructive as the last, but I believe that it is a bigger scam, from farther up the political ladder this time. In the long run it may do more damage than the last scam did to each others emotional self and to their relations as couples, families, and as a town.
So as one that hasn't kept up constantly with the stories of Jericho it just may be interesting to stay tuned and see what happens this season.
